Diviner's manual

The tablet explains that the year is made up of twelve months with 360 days.

It goes on to say that the astronomer should study the length of the year and look in the tablets to learn the timings when stars first appear, are visible and then disappear.

He should also know when the sun and the moon appear in the months Addaru and Ululu, and when the moon rises and first appears each month. This will give him the answers to work out the months of the year and the days of the months.
