Protection from demons

The Assyrian king relied on his experts in magic to decide how his palace was decorated. Doorways and corners of rooms had to be protected by carved stone reliefs of magical creatures as they were favourite hiding places for evil spirits. If the guardian figures faced the wrong way, the palace and king would be attacked by bad luck. It is your job as chief magician to decide where to place the protective reliefs to keep the king safe.
