The villagers give you some salted beef in return for the reeds. You help load it onto the boat. Soon the four boats are gliding back along the canal. Some of it will be eaten, the rest will be sold for beer and some new reed-cutting tools. Iluni thanks you for your help and tells you that you will receive a share of the meat when they get back. You wave at workers who are clearing the canal of weeds and think about how pleased your father will be when you tell him how much you have learnt about trading goods.
