Mari

Very slowly you walk with your donkeys. Many are exhausted. Just as you think that you can walk no further Nabium-malik's daughter spots a large raft on the opposite side of the river. It is the local ferry. Nabium-malik makes arrangements for the donkeys to be carried across the river. As you wait for the raft, a dust storm appears on the horizon. Great clouds of brown sand and earth rush towards the river and everybody has to cover their faces against the wind and dirt.

As quickly as it came, the dust storm passes. However, the sky is still very dark and frightening. It looks like more storms are on the way.

Do you load the donkeys onto the ferry or get on a local boat back to Sippar?
