Mari

As evening gets closer, the fishermen make camp by the edge of the lagoon. Soon a fire has been made and you all sit around it exchanging stories and telling jokes. Some of the fish are placed on pokers and held over the fire. One of the old men offers you a knife and a cooked fish. Although you are very hungry, the fish looks under cooked. The men laugh and say you will soon get used to eating fish this way if you learn about fishing. You decide this is not the life for you and the next day will return home. It's certain that your father will want to send you off with another merchant when you arrive.
